 2 AIS-MS-441: Gas testing and monitoring

Course Overview: 
This course provides an introduction to gas properties, testing and monitoring of various gases in the workplace using QRAE monitors. It pays particular attention on gas testing and monitoring at worksites.
Working in H2S environments is covered
It consists of interactive sessions and hands on approach to gas testing. A certificate of attendance and successful completion is given to participants.

Aims

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

•   Understand gas testing procedures and sensor operation principles
•   Calibrate gas monitors
•   Understand basic gas detection principles
•  Work in H2S environments
